Below is the last of my MySpace blog greatest hits and (mostly) misses. From here on out, everything will be new material. Maybe not fresh, and probably not regular.
Some things worth mentioning...in three or four years' time, I've mellowed a bit with regard to politics. Don't get me wrong, I'm still a junky, but I no longer hate Democrats, and I no longer call myself a Republican. I loath both parties equally, and I long for the day when free thinkers (kind of like the founding fathers) can get into power and right this sinking ship we're in. So to all my lefty friends, if you've read from the beginning, my apologies if I seemed harsh. At the time I was. My meds are on now...and I'm feeling much better!

Rather, I'm a realist, a pragmatist, sometimes a pessimist (but I prefer to think of it as realistic optimism), and always OCD. I believe in entropy and Occam's Razor (look it up). I trust science more than politics. The two have little to do with each other, and yet are always so intermingled. Science is sexy. I am smarter than your average bear. I like mountains and solitude. I don't mind big crowds, but only if I know more than a few people; otherwise I'm shy to the point of discomfort. I'd rather be with a few close friends than a big group. Unless it's Saturday night in Death Valley...then I'm surrounded by 92,600 of my closest friends...even the asshat with the season tickets in front of mine. I'm Scot-Irish (by the way, it's "SCOT", not "SCOTCH"...Scotch is a drink and a sticky tape, not a people), multi-instrumental, a work-a-holic, proud father of the cutest damn son you ever met. I'm constantly working on my house. I eat, sleep and shit LSU football. Of importance are my wife, my son, my dog, and my truck. Not always in that order.
